October Gallery is a striking venue in central London with three outstanding spaces for hire:
Perfect for parties, book launches, workshops, meetings, music recitals, theatre performances and more.
Unique in their charm, all spaces benefit from natural light, fully integrated AV facilities and conserved period features of this 19th century Grade II listed building, steeped in history.
Based in the heart of Bloomsbury, the Gallery is served by excellent public transport connections, just a few minutes’ walk from Holborn and Russell Square London Underground Stations.
Founded in 1979, October Gallery has been instrumental in bringing to worldwide attention many of the world’s leading international artists, including El Anatsui, Rachid Koraïchi and Romuald Hazoumè. The Gallery promotes the Transvangarde, the very best in contemporary art from around the planet, as well as maintaining a cultural hub in central London for poets, writers, intellectuals and artists, and hosts talks, performances and seminars.

Located on the ground floor of an elegant three storey Victorian building this space includes the gallery, a large open-air courtyard garden and an optional professional kitchen.

This large naturally lit room has wood flooring, excellent acoustics, a Bechstein grand piano, projection and sound facilities. An optional antechamber kitchenette is also available.
Guest Hours: 9.00 am – 10.00 pm, Monday – Saturday
A spacious library room with a small conference table, beautifully lit by stained glass windows and furnished with Oriental carpets and dark leather armchairs. An optional antechamber kitchenette is also available.

The October Gallery is open from 12:30 to 17:30 pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
The Gallery is closed during official holidays and for the entire month of August.
October Gallery offers a 10% discount on all space hire for registered charities.
Please note there is no VAT on space hire. All catering and equipment hire will have VAT added.
